dj-toohype-btd-productionsTooHypE-Retired in 2001 on a 6-7 Year retirement decided on 2006 to worked with many Rave-Underground DJ’s (www.myspace.com/DJTooHypE) too get my foot back too the clubs/rave scene. My first Chicago Club appearance late 90’s was guest spot Club PM, Centrum, Residence in Inta’s, it wasn’t until 2009 I made an impression in Elgin on my comeback with Lucky’s Night Club-South Elgin & Mad Maggies-Elgin & then back too Chicago started with I-Bar, 39Ten Lounge, El Patron, Koz’s, Xavier’s Players Club no residence TBA.

During the early and mid 80’s Hector Delgado grew up in Chicago’s Humboldt Park/Logan Square and Little Village area’s up until 2002 and now lives in Elgin, IL; a Northwest suburb of Chicago. Hector recalls the early years of his life listening to WBMX & WGCI radio stations in addition to House music. His biggest influences are all of the Hot Mix 5 with his favorites being the legendary Bad Boy Bill, Julian “Jumpin” Perez & Micky “Mixin” Oliver. It is because of them that Hector grew into the sounds of House Music. Later throughout the years he recalls coming across the sounds of Alex Peace, CZR, Bam Bam and all the UC, IHR, Dance Works!, Jasperstone, Renegade Record Label.

Hector Delgado aka DJ TooHypE begun his career back in the mid 80’s and had a well known reputation up until his departure in 2001. Fortunately this star decided to make a comeback from retirement as of 2006-7 and already made headlines at over 300+ events and venues and remains true to the house party scene where he originally began his career. DJ TooHypE has been rocking the crowd along side with other known DJ’s, producers and artists. Such examples are: DJ & Producer Jon Kennedy, J IBarra aka DJ Prime, Brian Boncher aka Breakdown B, Danny Soundz, Ruel Quiroz, Tim Spinnin’ Schommer, Insomnia, Manny Mayhem, Rampage, Bizerk, Ryan B, Rozz, Quick Mixin Nick, Phuture Boy, Euphoria, Mixxin Mike, Mad Max, Panorama, Night, Endure, Edin D, Cross, Eric Marquez, Juan “2 Big” Perez, Suavecito, DJ ID, DJ SB, DJ Chicago and many more.

By following his heart into the DJing world, DJ TooHypE has always been a positive example upon which younger artists can look to, to help them make a name for themselves. Through his encouragement and guidance, he wants to help others follow his footsteps and help them achieve their dreams and learn from them as well. Hector aka TooHypE admits that there always something new you can learn no matter how much experience you have in a particular field.

DJ TooHypE will play primary any House genre style and could begin with some Chicago House-Underground. Then he can bump it up to some Electro & Hard House or Progressive tracks. Every so often he will play some wicked Techno or Trance music depending on the crowd flows to his music. Just recently TooHypE has begun listening to, and learning from the Hip Hop and Reggaeton scene. He has recently crossed over into the new world of this mixed music in order help him connect with his Latin roots. He loves to express his personification on the music to young and old Latino crowds alike.
